Making the rooms at Bristol (BHOC) more homely

We are really pleased to say that some of the money that Gareth raised on his epic cycle ride has allowed us to purchase one of these fridges and water boilers for each room to give patients a chance to make their own tea and coffee when staying at Bristol.

New bedding for the isotope rooms

Thrilled that our fundraising has meant that we have been able to supply 8 sets of bedding - pillows, duvets, duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases - for the 2 isotope rooms at BHOC. This will hopefully make for a more relaxing stay for patients having radioactive iodine treatment in isolation. Below are 'before' and 'after' photos of one of the rooms and the first patient to stay in the rooms after the 'makeover' , also enjoying one of the books given by the group.
